All rooms are designed to allow our guests to enjoy a peaceful moment and serve as a base during their stay in the capital, whether they are here on business or for a more leisurely visit. Here is an overview of the types of rooms we offer:
Small Double Room – 12 m²
Small double room with carpet and a 160- or 180-cm bed. The room overlooks the street and is located on 1. or the second floor. The room is suitable for one person, but can also accommodate two people. The spacious bathroom has a shower and a toilet.
Standard Room – 13 m²
Standard room with carpeted floors and a bed measuring 140–160 cm. The room overlooks the street and is located on the 3rd, 4th, or 5th floor. The rooms on the 5th floor have sloped ceilings and natural light from skylights. The spacious bathroom has a shower stall and a toilet.
Superior Room – 17 m²
Superior room with carpeted floors and a 180-cm bed. The room is furnished with a chair and a coffee table and is in a quiet location with a view of the street. The bathroom has a shower stall and a toilet.
Deluxe Room – 20 m²
Deluxe room with carpeted floors and a 180-cm bed. The room is available in two configurations: One features a sofa set, a view of the street, and a quiet location with a few steps leading up to the room. The other has a private balcony with furniture for two people and a view of the courtyard. This option is available without stairs. The spacious bathroom has a shower and toilet.
Junior Suite – 27 m²
Junior Suite with carpeted floors, a 180-cm bed, and an armchair. The sofa bed can accommodate up to three adults or two adults and two children up to 12 years old. One of the junior suites is located next to the elevator. The spacious bathroom features a shower and toilet. One junior suite also has a bathtub, which must be requested separately.
One-Bedroom Suite – 35 m²
A two-story suite with carpeted floors and a double bed on the ground floor. It also features an armchair and a minibar, while the first floor is furnished with a sofa . The suite overlooks the courtyard and features a TV that can be viewed from the bed. The spacious bathroom has a shower and a toilet.
Deluxe Suite – 35 m²
Suite with a double bed and a separate living room featuring a sofa and a small, round dining table. The sofa bed can accommodate up to three adults or two adults and two children up to 12 years old. The suite also features a balcony overlooking the courtyard. The spacious bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub.
Penthouse Suite – 75 m²
Two-story penthouse suite with an exclusive DUX bed on the ground floor. The first floor features a separate living room with a sofa and a desk. The suite also has a large, private, furnished rooftop terrace with a view. The bathroom has a separate shower and bathtub.

That’s why the rooms are also equipped with soundproof windows, ensuring your peace and quiet even though you’re right in the heart of the city. This creates a special atmosphere of being right in the middle of it all, yet free from disruptive elements like street noise and commotion. Modern amenities in every room
The rooms at Herman K share a few common features, even though each one has its own unique character. All rooms are equipped with linens, towels, a bathrobe, shampoo, and soap made from bio-based and renewable materials, as well as a Dyson hair dryer. The modern beds have built-in consoles that allow you to control the room’s BOSE sound system and charge your smartphone or other electronic devices via the integrated USB ports.
The room’s air conditioning can be controlled via a wall-mounted console, and there’s also an LED TV where you can watch both Danish and international channels and connect to your own streaming services via the built-in Chromecast feature. You’ll also find a coffee maker and electric kettle, as well as complimentary coffee and tea. Items in the minibar are available for purchase. If there’s anything you need, the front desk is open 24 hours a day, and we’re ready to help you with whatever you may need.

Our breakfast is served at your table and is designed to provide a peaceful and exclusive start to the day. Here you’ll enjoy freshly brewed Ethiopian specialty coffee (100% organic Arabica), freshly baked organic rolls and bread made from Öland wheat, rye bread, and organic Unika butter with Læsø sea salt. In addition, we offer homemade granola with organic yogurt and fresh berries, jams and nut butter, freshly cut seasonal fruit, dry-cured and smoke-cured salmon, charcuterie, and a selection of cheeses—including two Unika cheeses.
As an extra treat, you can choose between fried eggs, scrambled eggs, or an omelet—all made with organic eggs—served with sides such as bacon, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, and grated Vesterhavsost cheese.
Everything is prepared with a focus on flavor, sustainability, and genuine craftsmanship, so breakfast feels like a little gourmet experience in itself.
